Who handles your information
Sheddington Manor handles guest and enquiry information for the property at 144 Alliance Road, Belfast BT14 7JD. Use the contact form for a privacy request or write to the property. Include enough information for us to identify your enquiry or booking without sending card details or unnecessary identity documents.
Information we receive
We receive the details you enter in enquiries, stay requests, bookings and gift orders, such as your name, email, optional phone and country, dates, party details, requests and correspondence. Booking records include prices, payment references and status. Our hosting and security services also process technical request information such as IP address, device/browser information and error logs.
Why we use it and our legal bases
We use enquiry and booking information to answer a request, take steps before a contract and provide the agreed stay or service. We process accounting information where required by law. We use limited technical and correspondence information for legitimate interests in operating and securing the website, preventing fraud, supporting guests and resolving disputes. Where optional marketing or non-essential storage requires consent, we must ask separately; booking acceptance is not marketing consent.
Payments and booking providers
Card details are entered in Stripe’s secure payment fields. This website does not store full card numbers or security codes. Stripe processes payment information under its own terms. Our reservation management provider processes guest contact details, stay dates and booking records to manage reservations and keep availability current. These services receive the information needed for their role.
Other recipients and international processing
Hosting, database, email delivery and support providers process information needed to run the service. We may disclose information where legally required or needed to resolve a payment dispute. Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where required, appropriate contractual or other recognised safeguards must apply. Contact the manor for details relevant to your booking. We do not sell guest information. Business email is provided by Spacemail. Incoming messages are also copied to the host’s nominated Gmail mailbox for guest support, with a copy retained in the business inbox.
How long information is needed
We keep information for the purpose for which it was collected, including handling your request, providing the stay, accounting, complaints and legal claims. Retention depends on the record and applicable obligations. Contact us about deletion or the retention period for a specific record; some information may need to remain for legal or accounting reasons. We do not promise immediate deletion of records we are legally required to keep.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can withdraw consent where it is the legal basis without affecting earlier lawful processing. We may need to verify a request proportionately. These rights are subject to the conditions in data protection law.

Essential session information and browser storage support stay selections, theme choices, secure administration and payment. Our cookie notice explains these functions. Opening a third-party visitor link or loading an external map shares technical information with that service. Its own privacy policy applies. You can choose not to open an external service.
Marketing and sensitive requests
A booking or enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing. Please do not send card numbers or sensitive personal information in free-text forms. If an access or dietary request would reveal health information, share only what is needed and contact the manor about how it will be handled.
